After 4 wonderful years we are selling this beautiful handcrafted American School Bus conversion. She is 40ft x 8ft.

It’s always felt like we nailed the layout in this space, it feels open everywhere, yet everything has its space.

Firstly to give you a little background on the Bus, we bought the Bus in 2019 and converted the space in 2020 with the intention of being our static, off-grid full time family home. Arizona has more than fulfilled her purpose, having been our daughters first home has meant she’s been raised in a beautiful and cosy handcrafted and organic space in the forest surrounded by nature, we love that this is the norm for her and will continue to pursue a life spent slightly off the beaten track.

Arizona is a early 2000’s Blue Bird School Bus, she is a right hand drive because the UK trialled out a small run of the classic american school bus. She is designed to be static but could travel with some alterations, just remember she is very big!

This lifestyle has given us freedom, smaller outgoings and allowed us to travel whilst renting out the Bus as an AIRBNB. The Bus is listed under a companies glamping site so has permission to be where she is, she will have to be moved.

Luckily we’ve always loved how we chose to design the space, we wouldn’t change anything about the layout. The organic materials, lime wash paint & wood allow for a neutral but cosy backdrop to decorate and make your own.

She runs and has been periodically run whilst she’s been static, however she doesn’t have a current MOT. The Bus is registered as a commerical Bus, so someone with this specific license has to move her, if you plan on having her static it would be much easier to transport on the back of a lorry.

We feel she’s a real (small) home for someone or a family, there would be a creative way to fit in small children.

Equally she’s a great business venture, has help fund our travels when we’re away.
